Samenvatting
Traffic networks play a major role in transportation and location-allocation studies. The links of a network are meant as the communication channels for trips and relationships within and between zones. A network connects all zones in the region concerned. This paper describes the possibilities of segment based districting areas in general, demonstrated by a special application to voting districts.
