Samenvatting

One measure of the accessibility of a zone of a town is the average distance from that zone to all possible destination zones. This report is primarily concerned with the theoretical situation in which destinations are distributed uniformly through a circular town. Expressions are obtained to show how the average distance to destinations chosen at random varies with the position of the origin.
