Samenvatting
The purpose of an accident investigation is to develop data to determine the direct and indirect causes of an injury or damage to property and equipment. A properly completed accident investigation will assist the investigator in developing accident prevention recommendations. But in order to properly conduct an accident investigation there must be a clear understanding of what an accident is. Different definitions are presented.
