The aim of the study was to produce information of accident involvement and injure risk rates of different common makes and models of passenger cars. The effect of vehicle mileages, vehicle mass, users age and sex and areal usage, which are the most important factors causing variation of risk rates, has been eliminated. According to this study, the most of the car models causing many single accidents are rear-wheel drive or high-powered front-wheel drive models. High-poweration increases also the risk in rear end collisions. The car models causing many frontal accidents are mostly small of their mass.
