Sodium-sulpher batteries are still in a phase of research and development with the main objective to lengthen the life-span of the elements and to case the installation and re-installation of the batteries. However, it has to be kept in mind, that a battery giong for 250 km only needs re-installation 400 times for 100.000 km.
