Samenvatting
The primary purpose of this study was to determine the accuracy of mileage estimates provided by a sample of drivers. The estimates given by the drivers were compared with the actual mileage. A second purpose of the study was to determine whether there are any driver characteristics, such as age, sex, amount of responsibility assumed for car, and degree of interest in car, that appear to be associated with greater accuracy of mileage estimates.
