Samenvatting
At the end of 1986 the Dutch government introduced the quantitative aim for traffic safety: Minus 25% traffic victims in the year 2000. Road administrators, police, private organizations, citizens, and in particular local authorities should cooperate. Financial stimuli of unconventional nature are the most conspicuous elements in this campaign, but there is more to do.
