In this paper an introduction is given to different types of action plans for improving traffic safety in Denmark. Mainly the National Action Plan for Traffic Safety 2001-2012 is introduced, which is a successor of the earlier National Action Plan 1989-2000. Thereafter it is told about the success Local Traffic Safety Plans have had in Denmark and finally Company Action Plans are mentioned, a concept which is tried in Denmark right now.
