Samenvatting
Descriptions of the causes and consequences of the accidents involving motorcycles and trucks, vans, buses and multi-purpose vehicles in a representative sample of road traffic accidents to which an ambulance was called are presented. Reviews of the relevant characteristics of the motorcyclist and drivers, and of the motorcycles, lorries, vans and buses are also included. The role of the road and traffic factors is discussed.
