Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA) is the only one railway operator in Taiwan. Following the national policy of ITS, TRA devotes to APTS. In 2000, TRA firstly delivered Timetable Query System to the public and provided on-line interactive query to more travellers. In 2005, in association with TRA again the query ways were diversified from text to graph fashions with richer but simpler contents. The data were revised into XML format for future value-added applications. That means users will get the rail timetable through various devices, e.g. mobile phones, personal digital assistant etc. This information should show its importance in the integration of multi-modal transportation.
