Samenvatting

Developed countries like USA, Canada, Japan, U.K., Australia and Germany have adopted advanced traveller information technologies (ATIS) expeditiously in comparison to developing countries. But, unlike developed countries, developing countries face considerable financial and framework constraints. Moreover, local traffic, roadway, signalization, demographic, topological and social conditions in developing countries are quite different from those in developed countries. In this paper, a simple advanced traveller information system (ATIS) has been developed for developing countries. (a) For the covering entry of this conference, please see ITRD abstract no. E217099.
