Adverse and beneficial effects of highways on residential property values. Presented at the 53rd Annual Meeting of the Highway Research Board, Washington, January 1974.

Four residential communities adjacent to interstate highways are examined to determine the effects of regional accessibility and highway-generated disturbances on property values. Disturbances measures within each community included noise and air pollution. Data were collected on traffic mix, volume and speed, and the results are discussed.
