Samenvatting

This paper considers the effect of age, length of time a motorcycle licence has been held and engine capacity on an exposure-adjusted accident rate. It was found that the engine capacity of the motorcycle has no significant effect on the motorcycle accident rate but that the age and driving experience of riders do have a statistically significant effect on the accident rate.
