Samenvatting
This report was initiated by initiative from the The Swedish National Road Administration (SNRA, Vägverket) in order to better identify the health effects associated with road tunnel exposure to nitrogen dioxide. NO2 was to be studied in depth, while some aspects on co-pollutants such as particles, was needed for comparison but not in central focus. The current research knowledge has been described within the frames of the exposure conditions occurring in Swedish road tunnels, with comparisons with higher exposure doses where needed in order to give a broader perspective.
