Samenvatting
Some metro-tunnel sections of the Rotterdam transit systems pass under existing buildings. To avoid noise and vibration problems the tracks are layed on a heavy concrete prestressed slab mounted on very softly specially designed rubber mountings. The acoustical prediction model is described. The selcted construction is described in some detail.
