Alcohol and highway safety : supporting documentation. Section B: An examination. of drinking-driving countermeasures.

A questionnaire was sent to 46 countries to get an insight of effective countermeasures programs for drinking drivers. From the answer of 28 countries an overview is given, the objectives of the survey were to obtain as much information as possible about the countermeasures' activity, and to obtain as much information as possible about the variations and effectiveness of the various alcohol- driving countermeasures.
