Investigation of the aspects of alcohol and road safety in several European countries. The author has visited police authorities and government and private institutions engaged in this field, collecting information about legal aspects, police attitude, blood alcohol concentration, blood tests, treatment of alcoholics and conviction of drunken drivers.
