Samenvatting
Alcohol produced an impairment of peripheral vision under two conditions where the central fixation light required information processing. Alcohol failed to effect peripheral vision when division of attention was not required. The results of experiments suggest that alcohol interferes with central information processing rather than peripheral sensory mechanisms.
