Samenvatting
Laboratory studies of alcohol influences on three essential driver performance areas are reviewed: vision, tracking, and division of attention. It is concluded that alcohol affects the ability to process appreciable quantities of information when these arrive from more than one source simultaneously, as is typical of the requirements for driving.
