Samenvatting

In spite of present knowledge of the substantial contributions of drinking and driving to the total traffic safety problem, very little information exists on long-term trends in the magnitude of the drinking-driving problem. Existing data bases were examined and three approaches to measures employed are studied to the long-term trends in the magnitude of the drinking and driving problem in Ontario.
