Sponsored by the Federal Highway Research Institute, twoalcohol safety model programs veere developed betvreen 1976and 1978: a socalled "behaviouristic approach" based onprinciples of behaviour modification and an approach ba-sed on the ideas underlying Adler's individual psychology.The programs are now being tested on a large scale. Theexperiences gained hitherto are quite promising.
