This leaflet provides information on the blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of drivers fatally injured in motor vehicle accidents in Canadian provinces and territories. The information is derived from the Traffic Injury Research Foundation (TIRF) Fatality Database, which consists of data collected from reports prepared by provincial corroners, medical examiners and investigating police officers.
