The data on the number of road accidents caused by alcohol can vary for example, between 5% and 65% of the total. The authors indicate the importance of studying the role of those injured in traffic. In the investigation presented here 60% of the male motorists killed in one-car accidents were under the influence of alcohol, while all the cyclists run over were sober.
