Samenvatting
Measures which have been taken and the new ideas concerning improvement of the traffic safety in Amsterdam are presented. The report gives abundant information and gives a survey of the traffic safety situation in Amsterdam. Described are, among others, the road traffic situation, road traffic accidents, improvement of road traffic environment, measures for reducing motor vehicle traffic, traffic safety education, first aid and ambulance service.
