This is the final report of a study into analogies between, on the one hand, short and mid-long term processes in road traffic and regulation of these processes by means of dynamic traffic management (DTM), and, on the other hand, models or ways of description from other disciplines or research fields. The objective of the study is to gain new insight into the DTM field. The study has been subdivided into the following phases: (1) Search of and orientation in analogies; (2) Preparation and guiding of group discussion; and (3) depth-interviews and final report. Each phase has been described in separate reports.
