Samenvatting
Since 1959 The Institute for Perception is involved in a long-term research project on the analysis of the driving task. The project is described using a matrix with task- level and task-processes as entries. Thus far the main attention is given to elements of the driving task like perception, vehicle control, etc it is argued that in the futur more attention should be given to studio in which the interrelation between elements of task-the integrated driving task- will be the main subject to be investigated.
