Studies aimed in increasing road safety by improving roads and their surroundings were turned, at first, to black spots, then itineraries, then a whole town or department. Those last subjects need a good knowledge in running of those areas, and a good pratice on accident analysis. On those two fields system analysis are apt to spread out. (Author/publisher)
