Formulae are given in order to calculate the inside noises in Iorries and small and medium cars whose engine in the main partial source of noise. It has been noted that for several vehicles the sound levels deviate by ± 2 db from the measured values. The established differences are however within the limits of the usual tolerances and series-dispersions.
