Following an extensive literature survey, the traffic task of cyclists and moped riders was analysed at three levels in order to determine as close as possible the factors that contribute to the high accident involvement of young cyclists and moped riders. This report provides a description of the cognitive processes underlying the task of cyclists and moped riders.
