Samenvatting
The E- 5 highway in Turkey has the highest rate of accidents in the whole of the highway network of Turkey. The research carried out to determine the blackspots in this section and the remedial measures to be taken have pointed out that a large number of blackspots can be grouped into four categories which are: the at- grade junctions, built- up area crossings, ramps and the areas in front of petrol stations.
