Analysis of detection and service systems on freeways.

A systematic model for a system analysis structure has been designed for responding to freeway incidents. The operation of an emergency service system has been represented in an activity model which is described in this paper. The cost effective analysis was proposed to study the performance of alternative emergency service systems.
