Samenvatting
Descriptive statistics from several data files about large truck involvement in traffic accidents are presented. Included are time of accident, location, speed, property damage cost, vehicle condition, and damage patterns. For most of these characteristics, trucks are compared with passenger cars. A particular analysis of the incidence of car-into-truck underride collisions is detailed.
