Samenvatting
Inadequate customer communication system, starting the entire system at once, inadequate number of vehicles, and taxicab buyout are four major mistakes that were made that led to the death of the dial-a-ride system in Santa Clara County. Each of these four mistakes is discussed and recommendations for instituting dial-a-ride systems are made.
