Samenvatting
This report presents the results of a series of tests carried out since 1962 by the Department of Home Affairs (West-Germany) in cooperation with the Daimler Benz industry in order to evaluate the different types of guardrails. Different constructions and materials are tested. The developments in the field of guardrails in different countries, and the tests cars carried out reviewed. Conclusions and recommendations are given.
