Annual report 1974 National Highway Safety Advisory Committee.

The National Highway Safety advisory Committee, created by the National Highway Safety Act of 1966, advises the Secretary of Transportation on highway safety programs carried out by the Department. The Act specifically calls for the Committee to review and publicize its comments on new or revised highway safety program standards and to recommend specific research projects'' which it believes show promise of making valuable contributions to human knowledge of with respect to the cause and prevention of highway accidents''.
