Samenvatting

Two characteristics of vehicle handling-stability and controllability are defined. The difference between them is that stability can exist without controllability, but controllability gives the driver the capability of creating instability. The advantages of 2-wheel and 4-wheel anti-locking brake systems are compared in terms of stability and controllability.
