Samenvatting
In this article the netherlands ministry of transport reports on a search for the "ideal" loop configuration of detectors. It gives details of testing equipment which is able to simulate car traffic to check the proper performance of detection loops. Differences between electronic and mechanical loop simulators are discussed.
