Application of the city center traffic capacity concept in traffic forecasting.

Two of the possible applications of the concept of area traffic capacity are: (1) in the search for ideal development of the city centre, using the environmental traffic capacity of the area; and (2) in developing an "area traffic capacity restraint" model to be used in traffic forecasting. The letter approach is adopted and described in detail.
