Samenvatting
Modern road traffic control and surveillance systems have been developed through the application of highly developed electronic technology. This paper will introduce the snow information system in use on national highways in regions where snow conditions are severe, the traffic data collection and traffic control systems for controlling congested urban expressways, and will also introduce the inter- urban expressway traffic control system.
