Samenvatting
A cooperative public trial of headlight polarization is proposed for OECD sponsorship as the most expeditions means of evaluating the acceptability and desirability of enacting governmental mandates for the adaptation of a major improvement in vehicle headlighting to enhance night driving safety. Cost alternatives, legal constraints, administrative management, traffic safety benefits, public relations, and technical design criteria are discussed. (See also B 5720).
