Samenvatting

The Laboratory of Accidentology and Biomechanics Associated with Peugeot SA and Renault (APR) takes into account its knowledge of accidents and biomechnics, when investigating many real and simulated vehicle crashes having varying configurations and using dummies of different sizes. The APR has been able to combine a certain number of specifications to define the highest performance in child restraint systems. The objective is to offer the best possible protection as a function of the age of occupant, combined with easy mounting in vehicles. (A)
