Samenvatting
The way in which the working task of the international truck driver is composed, is described. The main parts of the task are driving, loading and unloading. An interview held under 650 international drivers revealed also that a considerable time is spend useless by waiting. The main part of the working day is the driving task, a professional skill which assumes attention and the cooperation of physical and psychical functions.
