Samenvatting
Discussed is professional discretion of doctors in cases of low driving aptitude of their patients. Is the doctor obligated to report this fact to e.g. the authorities or not? In Switzerland doctors have the right to report this fact to the authorities, but they are not obliged to do so. In the Democratic Republic of Germany doctors obliged to report low driving aptitudes. Possible regulations for reporting for doctors are given.
