Samenvatting
The use of asphalt from antiquity to the present is surveyed, particular attention being given during the period 1901-1955. Among the topics treated are mixture formulas, ductility tests light asphalt surfaces, antiroughness treatments, grading, resistance to plastic deformation and durability.
