Samenvatting
Apparatus and methods that have been developed for the routine evaluation of the strength of road pavements and of the riding quality and resistance to skidding and road surfaces are described. They are intended for use in operating a rating system in which the condition of roads is measured quantitatively, so that maintenance programmes can be defined objectively.
