Samenvatting
The objective of this research project is to provide an assessment of present and future paratransit vehicles, their design characteristics and service requirements from the viewpoint of the passenger, the community, and the driver. This assessment includes comfort, safety, and accessibility of all occupants with particular attention to the special driver problems associated with paratransit service; it focuses on the problems of the elderly and the handicapped.
