The association of accident severity and frequency with vehicle age : a study in Three Michigan Counties for the Period 1 January to 30 September, 1966.

This study investigates the association of vehicle age with crash frequency and severity. The data of this investigation and the analysis fail to support either the notion that vehicles become more desceptible to crashes as the age or the notion that the level of damage, given a crash occurs, increases with vehicle age.
