Samenvatting
Preliminary report on the effect of hard polyurethane foam coating and cellular concrete covering rigid objects dampening the impact of vehicle collisions. Compression and deceleration figures were measured on a test bed. Experiments with polyurethane were discontinued, but those with light concrete coated with a metal or nylon gauze gave promising results.
