Samenvatting
Austroads published its world famous Road Safety Audit Guide in 1994 and a second edition in 2002. It has been at the forefront of the development and promotion of road safety audit world-wide. In this paper the author discusses some Austroads activities. While a brief introduction to road safety audit is provided, this paper does not describe road safety audit in detail. Readers should refer to the second edition of the Austroads Road Safety Audit Guide for a comprehensive description of the audit process.
