Samenvatting
The effects of various criteria, especially of the variable "alcohol proneness" on performance in simulated driving tests are studied. There was a general trend for alcohol prone drivers to show a less positive psychological driving ability. An analysis of the other parameters showed, that "normal" drivers having caused an accident under the influence of alcohol had relatively better results in driving performance tests than those with alcohol proneness, without an accident. A high discrepancy is suggested between the usual ability and the actual performance under the influence of alcohol.
